Cynthia Young was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Northwestern High School and later moved to California in 1974, where she resides today with her husband.

"Memoirs of a Caregiver" is her first literary work. In it she shares her experiences as a caregiver over the past twelve years for four family members - all of them stricken with Alzheimer's disease.

"Cynthology" is Young's second book. She expresses her view of life through her collection of unedited rhymes that she describes as short stories. There are more than one hundred rhymes, covering subjects from back in the day, current events, relationships, sorrow, sex, love and more, find your favorite(s) and enjoy!
